Salad Power Review

Happy Monday! Is it just me or does it seem like it takes forever for it to be the weekend, but when it's finally the weekend it passes in a blur? I say we add another day to the week, how about one between Saturday and Sunday? I think everyone could get on board for that one!

I'm a fan of all things healthy and tasty, so when the team at Salad Power asked if I'd be willing to test out their drinks I readily agreed after doing my research. I am not a big juice fan to begin with because I'd rather eat the fruits and veggies. Another reason I proceeded with caution is sugar. Have you ever looked at the nutrition and ingredient label on a bottle of supposedly healthy juice and seen how many grams of sugar are in one serving?! Some are 40grams or more! No thank you!

All of Salad Power's drinks are made from 100% non GMO vegetables and fruits. There is no added sugar or strange ingredients. All of their drinks are 100% natural, gluten free, vegan, and kosher. So what's in their drinks? Only a few simple ingredients: kale, celery, carrot, bell pepper, cucumber, tomato, and spinach. Salad Power comes in 4 flavors, original, apple, mango, and pineapple.

If you're counting calories have no fear! Each flavor is calorie friendly: original 60 calories, apple 115 calories, pineapple 157 calories, and mango 163 calories. Those calories are for the entire bottle too. No more of the 2 servings per bottle like so many of the other juices out there.

The timing of receiving the drinks could not have been more perfect. I got them the day I got out of the hospital and they became a lifesaver. I was stuck on a soft, low-fat diet, so I couldn't have my normal fruits and veggies. My doctors said I could have juice and when I asked about Salad Power they gave it their stamp of approval.

I have two favorite flavors, pineapple and mango. I have been taking a juice box with me almost everywhere I go because it's a quick, easy, and healthy snack. It's also a no mess snack, which is great for in the car. I think it would be a great way for parents to get their kids to have veggies because it's portable and easier than packing a snack.
