Over the years it's evolved into working with brands to share products I love, sharing tidbits about my life as a T.V news reporter, my (semi crazy) dogs, travels, and most recently getting married. Is my life perfect? HECK NO. Sometimes it's going to the gym every day for a week and other times it's hardly hitting the gym for a week because work and life get hectic.
I'd like to think I've found a better balance as I've hit my mid 20's, but no one is perfect all the time. I love working out and eating healthy because it makes me feel good, but I also love tacos and occasionally grabbing a drink with my husband and our friends. It's really about balance and not going to the extremes.
Why name the blog The Simple Life? You'd have to ask college Rachael that. Basically I believe that healthy living, eating, and working out should not be a huge undertaking. A few small changes go a long way in creating a better life for yourself, your family, and those around you. If you're here looking for a diet you won't find one. I don't count calories or track macros. I eat to fuel my body. Period.
I am no means an expert, nor do I claim to be, but I want to help people live their best and healthiest lives possible. And guess what? Tacos are part of that life (and so are burpees).
