On a hot summer day, or a cold spring day when you have a sugar craving, a healthy chocolate milkshake is in order. Yup you read that right healthy chocolate milkshake! It's thick and creamy like a regular chocolate milkshake except it's even more chocolaty than a normal milkshake- a double win!
You will need:
- 1 frozen banana
- 1.5 tablespoons dark chocolate cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup milk, skim or unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- OPTIONAL: 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- OPTIONAL: Top with organic cocoa nibs
In a blender combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.
Pour and serve. The recipe is easily is doubled or tripled for other people to enjoy also.
